Review - Aussie Hair Care - Take The Heat

As mentioned here, I received some Aussie hair care goodies a couple of weeks ago. It's like they read my mind - heat product related mind - I am always on the look out for something to save my bleached, heat damaged hair. Going back to brunette is literally not an option. I love being a blonde far too much. It's like a whole new me - well in the mirror anyway.
Also leaving my hair to dry naturally is not an option either. My hair is neither straight nor curly. It's the dreaded wavy, but not the beach curls wavy, yucky wavy.
Anyways back to the point. I have been using these products over the last few weeks and not to sound predictable, they actually seem to work. My hair is smoother, i'v had less breakage and the colour has stayed (If you a chemically treated blonde you will appreciate how hard it is to keep the colour)
I also steer away from putting too much product in the hair as it tends to weigh your hair down and leave it looking like it just needs a good wash, but with these products, even the cream, it's like their is nothing there. Not to mention the fab smell that lingers all day.
So all in on, I would rate this as a 5 star product!

  2. Oh, I couldn't have read this post at a better time...

I'm on a spending diet this month - saving for my birthday party and Christmas - and won't be able to afford my usual Kerastase.

I can feel a trip to Boots coming my way! ;0)

  4. I dyed my virgin hair "ombre" about a month ago. I never thought I could stray from being a brunette, but the bleach blonde tips that fade into caramel and then back into my natural color have made me a believer in fun at the salon. : ) I still don't think i'm brave enough to do all-over color, but i'm already brainstorming on what i'll do next... maybe a little red? Unfortunately, no one explained to me -probably because everyone thought I should already know- how to take care of chemically bleached hair! A lot of the caramel toner has already faded, but I love it just the same. I've been looking for a good heat protectant, but I've been really disappointed so far. I'll definitely give the Aussie a shot!. Thanks for your advice!

  6. I need to get back into the habit of using heat-styling hair care products. I quit blow drying for a while as I was growing my hair out, and now that it's at the length I love, I need to blow it out more...and protect it! Thanks for the suggestion :)
