Ann Summers Gradual Tan Lotion

As the days have been getting colder, I have decided to tone down my fake tan. I am a massive fan of Fake Bake and St Moritz, I just don't think you can beat the amazing deep tan that they bring you out in. However that colour looks a bit, well fake baked in the winter months. I luckily discovered, whilst on the hunt for a police outfit, this Gradual Tan Lotion. Not only does it smell gorge, but the colour that builds up is pretty awesome. It gives me a natural glow, and is surprisingly easy to apply. No need to worry about and streaks. Also as it's currently off season for tanning, the product is buy one get one free, so of course I stocked up with around 6.

Leopard Print Nails

getting a bit experimental with my nails these days. This pattern is certainly nothing new, but it was the first time for me. I got so many comments with my nails like this and loads of questions about how to do it. So I think I will do a how to post or Vlog at the weekend, so if anyone is interested then stay tuned. I have the same style on right now, but I changed up the colours for candy pink and lilac for the spots!

FashionChampagne loves Barry M

This brand seem to be multiplying in my make up bag these days (see here). I think they have by far the best nail polish on the high street. Definitely the best for durability. I find that the collection pictured above are pretty awesome with their lack of chipping. That is what every girl needs a chip free nail polish. I haven't found that's completely chip free and long lasting just yet.
have any of you guys?

MAC strobe liquid lotion

So I have heard an awful lot of GREAT things about this product and I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. The MAC girls at London Fashion Week (see here) were very helpful, explaining what the product was for etc....... for radiant and highlighted skin, don't you know!
I will make sure to take a piccy of this product in use (on my face) as I think it really does a great job. Especially in the winter, when my skin never seems to see the daylight. Think Edward Cullen and then think Edward Cullen in the sun. That is my explanation and i'm sticking to it - it is infact a natural looking glow, not a glitter bomb. For more info on the product check it out here
I will be sure to report back.

Review - Dirty Work

What's that you say 'Another post on Soap & Glory already?' Well look again. I found this whilst scoping the aisles of Sainsbury for toothpaste. It caught my eye instantly as I thought it was Soap & Glory. It's smells delish and half the price. The product itself isn't the same as S&G and not as good in my opinion. The cream is a bit thicker, but once it warms up it's easier to spread. It also does smell amazing and defo worth the try.

Soap & Glory - Trick and Treatment

I have been on the hunt for a concealer that actually works my whole life! For some reason I have dark circles under my eyes. This morning I woke up and looked like someone had given me 2 black eyes. I have full half moons! No LIE! After spending the say drinking water, I am now back to normal and the usual under eye shadow. Anyway back to the point - I will be testing this concealer out and reporting back to you guys. I love everything Soap & Glory, so I hope it doesn't disappoint.
It, as the name would suggests conceals your dark circles and contains clinically proven dark-circle reducers. The special formula will neutralise purple under eye circles with a special yellow-tone (read more here).
What concealer do you use?

Review - Nails Inc

I love that magazines seem to be giving away more freebies now. If I didn't already buy like 20 magazines a week, it would definitely make me gravitate towards the magazine with said freebie. I'm a sucker for nail varnish freebies, especially when the magazine collaborate with Nails Inc. I think that this brand is by far the best nail varnish their is on offer. Would be nice of they dropped the price a bit, then I might actually spend my dinero on the product instead of waiting until the next freebie. The magazine in question is Glamour and it is in the December issue. I think their are 4 colours available, but I think this colour is by far the best. It's called Savile Row and comes out the most amazing deep purple.
I think I may just buy up all 4!
*Could I have said the word freebie anymore in this post? HA

Strawberry Carmex

I haven't seen this Strawberry Carmex in England! I'm very sad. I picked this up in San Francisco. I seriously love it and it is my fave lip balm ever. Does anyone know of anywhere in the UK that sells it? I can't stand the cherry one and the original one is way too boring for my liking!
Take note - once applying this, do not take a sip of diet coke until it has dried - make the cola taste of beer.
Weird!

Review - Batiste Gold Shimmer

I am a huge fan of anything sparkly or shimmery, so when I spotted this I instantly swiped it and put it in my basket.

The smell reminded me of my teenage years, as my sister pointed out it smelt like Spice Girls Impulse body spray. Now that does take me back, like a whole decade. woops.
I couldn't wait to use it and did so on Friday night at the Aussie Take The Heat launch. I really didn't realise how much glitter would come out when sprayed, but I can tell you its a whole lot. If you still live with your parents, then let them know and ask what room would be ok to use this. Also spray it before you put your clothes one. It's like an exploding bomb - I kid you not. On the other hand I love a bit of glitter so I sprayed loads. I'm now covered in it and everyone that enters my rooms is too.

I wouldn't use this on a daily basis, but would be more than happy to for a night out with the girl or a christmas party.

Has anyone tried this?

Review - Aussie Hair Care - Take The Heat

As mentioned here, I received some Aussie hair care goodies a couple of weeks ago. It's like they read my mind - heat product related mind - I am always on the look out for something to save my bleached, heat damaged hair. Going back to brunette is literally not an option. I love being a blonde far too much. It's like a whole new me - well in the mirror anyway.
Also leaving my hair to dry naturally is not an option either. My hair is neither straight nor curly. It's the dreaded wavy, but not the beach curls wavy, yucky wavy.
Anyways back to the point. I have been using these products over the last few weeks and not to sound predictable, they actually seem to work. My hair is smoother, i'v had less breakage and the colour has stayed (If you a chemically treated blonde you will appreciate how hard it is to keep the colour)
I also steer away from putting too much product in the hair as it tends to weigh your hair down and leave it looking like it just needs a good wash, but with these products, even the cream, it's like their is nothing there. Not to mention the fab smell that lingers all day.
So all in on, I would rate this as a 5 star product!

Review of online store - Beauty Basket

Image via WeHeartIt

Exactly 2 weeks and a few days ago..............I ordered some makeup from an online store called Beauty Basket. I had heard great reviews about this shops service and most importantly their prices.
That being said, the service was awful, but the prices were still cheaper than everywhere else.

I ordered my products (BareMinerals) on Oct 17th and they turned up today on Nov 4th (Pretty awful if you ask me).
Their website states that if you order something it will be dispatched within 2 days unless the order isn't in stock at that time, in which case you will be informed via email. 10 days later..............I received no email to inform me of such a thing.

I emailed asking why I wasn't informed of this - as I would have gone somewhere else as I was in desperate need of make up - I had no response. I emailed again................no response. So of course I emailed again...........still no response. However after 3rd email I did receive an email saying 'Item DISPATCHED!' Better late than never, but an apology would have been nice. Infact if they had apologised I probably wouldn't be writing this post.

So their you have it - if you use this site be prepared to wait ages!
